Thanks mom and dad for the early birthday present - a new camera!!! Here are some new pictures finally:

October update

I got the two adorable children and no camera blues.... Here's the deal blog readers: my camera is dead as dead and while I've been videotaping various goings on I can't find the cord that you use to get your videos from said contraption to the computer. It's just not as fun to post without the pictures (I'm sure you readers will agree to that as well) hence it has been a month since my last post.

Here's what we've been up to:

Mya is in gymnastics class which is super cute and she is participating in Flip for the Holidays in December and she'll get a team leotard and everything. Olympics 2028 here we come ;-)

Jack is now proficient in rolling over both ways and has recently discovered that he has hands. He is a big boy wearing 12 month clothes at only 5 months and his feet are almost the same size as Mya's.

P-pa Randy will be arriving this evening for a week and a half visit to do some fishing and meet Jack.

Papi (Traven's new title) is going to France and Turkey mid month and P-pa Otie and G-ma Virg will be down to give me a hand.

So that's about it here, hopefully I will find that confounded cord! (and a new camera wouldn't hurt either!!!)

Jack finally rolled over - five days from being five months old and he finally got all the way over!

check ups, etc.

I've been having a lot of problems with my camera so I don't really have any new pictures to post. Mya and Jack both had check ups a couple of weeks ago and they are doing great. Jack weighs almost 16 pounds! Mya and Jack will both be having eye exams for strabismus (what Mya has already had surgery for) in early November so more to come on that I'm sure. Well Jack is waking up so I'll leave you with a photo from about a month ago:
